Blake's First Day School!

There is only one "real" first day of school and today was the day for Blake. KINDERGARTEN!!

I am happy! Happy that I have a little boy that is healthy and excited about school! Happy that I'm healthy and able to be apart of this special day! Happy that the Lord has blessed me with this wonderful boy! Happy that he gets to go to an awesome school! Happy that he has a wonderful daddy! Happy that he has loving grandparents! I'm happy because Blake is happy!

I'm just happy!

Today was a wonderful day!

So here are a little facts about my man:

Blake absolutely loves Transformers! So much he has a Transformer back pack and lunch box.

Blake is a sucker for a stray animal! So much he made his father catch a baby rabbit!

I have a feeling we will end up with many animals.

Blake has a very unique sense of style! He loves his hair spiked and his new shoes are maroon/gold Air Force Ones!

Blake truly loves being outdoors! Especially when his paw-paw Bob is cutting hay!

Blake takes such wonderful care of his baby brother! Such great care that last night his brother rubbed his Oreo cookie on the carpet and Blake put him in time-out. Then went on to explain to Chase why he was in time-out!

Last Day of Pre-K -- FOREVER!

Well, today was Blake's last day of pre-k! I think it was harder for me knowing he is not going to return next year to these loving people who took such great care of him!

I am excited to see the great things that await Blake in kindergarten!

Billy had a guys weekend planned, so the boys and I went to Dallas to visit their nanny (my sister) and check out the animals at the zoo.

I didn't get many pictures.....two kids, a stroller, and a camera was just a little to much to manage! So the camera was put aside except for a few shots!

All I have to say....our yearly visit to the zoo is done!

Pre-k Graduation 2010

It's about that time....time to say bye to pre-kindergarten. Blake celebrated tonight with his grandparents, cousins & friends his pre-kindergarten graduation. It's hard to believe that he will begin kindergarten in a few short months. Where does the time go?

FBC graduating class sang many wonderful songs including, Spanish Counting Song, Zip a Dee Doo Dah, Let There be Peace on Earth, I know that my Savior Loves Me, God Bless the USA and much, much more.

We are so proud of him and all the accomplishments he made in pre-k!

Mother's Day Weekend 2010

Like I have said numerous times this is my favorite time of year! I enjoy cooking out, relaxing outside with family and friends, nice cold adult beverage and fun with the kids. That is just what this weekend brought me!

Even my cat, Krenek Tap, enjoyed a nice cold one!

Last weekend we took family pictures, something I like to do about every 5-6 months. I was not expecting the photos to be ready for a few weeks. Well, Billy tracked down the photographer and had her prepare a photo for me for Mother's Day. He had it framed and wrapped for me to open on Mother's Day. I did not feel like scanning the photo in, so I just took a picture of it. Check back in a couple of weeks for all the pics Amy took of us!
