What do you want to be when you grow up?

Blake comes home every week with numerous coloring pages. This one drawing below caught my eye. I asked Blake to explain the picture to me and he went on to say that it's a picture of an R.V. (Recreational Vehicle a.k.a motor home). "Why did you draw a picture of an R.V.?" Blake responded, "Because when I grow up I'm going to sell R.V.'s just like my daddy."
If you look in the bottom right hand corner it says, R.V. Salesman.
I wonder what his teacher thought when other students were spouting out answers like teacher, doctor, etc. and my son comes up with a profession such as R.V. Salesman.
It really just fathoms me that my little 4 year old understands what his daddy does everyday.

So, this is Blake's little lamb he brings to school for naptime. Apparently he does more playing then sleeping.
I asked Blake what happen to his poor lamb. Blake said, "Mommy, it's snot. He has allergies."

Last time for a first day of preschool!!!

This is Blake's 2008 first day of preschool picture.....
HERE IS TODAY!!!

HOORAYING THE FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!!

On the way to preschool today a few tears started to fall. I asked Blake what he was worried about and he told me, "I just don't think I'm going to have fun." The encouraging mother that I am I reassured him I would never send him to school if I did not think he would have fun. Then Blake went on to tell me, "I'm really going to miss you." Well you know that went straight to my heart, but I did not bring my make-up because it would give me permission to cry. I did tell him that it is okay to miss your mommy. There are time as a big girl I still miss my mommy!

So, today I sucked up my emotions, got him out of the car, walked him inside, gave him a big kiss, pat on the bottom, blessed him with a cross on the forehead and said, "goodbye."

Next year I will be sending my little boy to the wolves -- KINDERGARTEN!!!
