What a Great Weekend!

This past weekend was a family event for us. My dad was celebrating his birthday, so the whole family was out at the ranch! It was a nice weekend starting with pictures at the administration building on campus, with my favorite photographer Amy Casas. The guys brought dad out for a round of golf and the women return to the house so the kids could nap.

That evening we celebrated by eating mom's enchiladas, watching the Aggies and spending time with each other.

My brother, Brock, lives south of us, while my sister, Meghan lives north. So all of us being together does not happen very often.

The cake we made for dad's birthday! I don't think he was to thrilled about the whole rainbow thing. I found it on a blog I enjoy reading and since my mother and sister where in town I figured I would not have to make it alone....or help at all!!! Ha! Love you mom and Meghan!

My sweet daddio! The best father a girl can ask for!

Meghan (Nanny) and the Chaser!

This is Meghan and Curtis' child, Emilio. He too is an Aggie fan! I love having him over he cleans up everything on my floor.

Everyone "enjoying" the Aggie game. Poor Aggies!

Dad and his grand boys-minus Blake. As you can tell dad enjoys every minute of them.

No telling what dad is whispering to them. Probably to make sure when they spend a night at a friends house to bring a fire alarm...not that he ever made me do that!

This is what my brother-in-law, Curtis, wore to play golf. Interesting!

Of course, I have to squeeze some pics of my boys!

Here is my little nephew, Brantley Bug!

The Chaser or should I call him cruiser!

Overall it was a great weekend! I love my brother and sister more then words can explain. I miss them dearly and wish I could spend more time with them. Even though we have all chosen different paths in life we could not be more closer then ever.

To many more weekends like this one! I love you - Badger Family!!!

Report from the Allergist:

Chase does have an allergy to avocado, duh!!! The scary one is the banana allergy, considering I have been feeding him bananas. His peanut allergy was officially confirmed. The latex allergy came back normal, but to me that is very strange. He is allergic to two of the fruits that are related to the latex allergy. Plus, the sores he develops when he wears a latex diapers. My worrying continues...

So here is the list:
Dairy
Egg
Wheat
Peanut
Banana
Avocado

What to feed the boy?

Farms and Baby Food!

Blake's grandparents went to Colorado this past week and brought him back a John Deere farm. This is totoally right up Blake's playing field. He absolutely loves everything that has to do with farming, hunting, fishing, etc. Ever since he received this wonderful gift there has not been any trouble getting him out of bed for school. As soon as he pops up he runs over to the kitchen table to play with the farm and EATS ALL HIS BREAKFAST.

Check out Blake telling me all about his farm and why he loves it so much:

As everyone knows Chase is very limited on what he can eat. So, I thought lets try stage 3 of the Gerber baby food. This is his reaction to it:

So much for stage 3!

Every time is a different experience...

when your child experiences anaphylaxis from food allergies. This time I got to ride on the stretcher with Chase. In the past he rides in a car seat strapped to the bed. Plus riding in an ambulance you get special treatment no waiting in line, your own room, the doctor and nurses are waiting on you, and you get to go in a special area of the E.R.
All of this for just eating a bite of an avocado!
